POWWOW DATA PROTECTION CHARTER

POWWOW complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection and privacy laws, notably the Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data Processed by POWWOW

POWWOW collects and processes personal data provided by the Partner, including: first name, last name, address, postal code and city, country, and, where applicable, the company name.

Purpose of Data Processing

The data collected is strictly limited to what is necessary for the proper execution of the services provided by POWWOW and for producing anonymous statistics with the sole aim of improving its services. POWWOW also retains Partner data to facilitate future orders.

Security Measures

POWWOW has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to safeguard information and prevent it from being altered, damaged, or disclosed to unauthorized third parties. In accordance with Articles 24 and 28 of the GDPR, POWWOW works with an IT partner under contract who also complies with the GDPR.

Visiting POWWOW’s website may result in cookies being placed on your computer to simplify your visit and enhance your browsing experience. POWWOW values sharing with its partners on matters of good governance. In accordance with the GDPR, POWWOW always seeks prior consent from each Partner. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Partner Rights Regarding Personal Data

The Partner has the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data by POWWOW:

  • The Partner can access their personal data free of charge, inquire about how POWWOW uses the data, and request corrections, additions, or deletions.

  • The Partner has the right to object to the processing of their personal data for compelling and legitimate reasons.

  • The Partner can object at any time, without needing to justify the request, to the use of their data for direct marketing purposes (even though POWWOW commits not to share such data). Requests can be sent to: info@powwow.be.

  • The Partner may file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (without prejudice to civil legal remedies).

Google may not use the data for any other Google services.
We block the inclusion of full IP addresses.
