Corporate and institutional video production in Brussels

Most corporate films don’t fail on the day of the shoot. They fail earlier: a brief nobody really wrote, five layers of approval, a deadline set by the event rather than the work, a budget that forgot about distribution. We have made enough films for public institutions, NGOs and companies to spot these risks early, and to deal with them before the camera rolls.

Powwow is a Brussels production company. We work with Holcim, ENGIE, the United Nations FAO, Bruxelles Formation and organisations that have something real to say, in Belgium and abroad.

What we produce

  • Institutional and corporate films, from two minutes to documentary length
  • Testimonials and portraits of the people behind a project
  • Mini-series that follow a project over months or years
  • Conference and event coverage, with same-day content for screens and social
  • Social cuts from the same shoot, so one budget feeds several channels
  • Media training for spokespeople facing a camera
  • Post-production on your existing footage

Who we work for

Public institutions and administrations. NGOs and non-profits. Companies and brands, from SMEs to large corporates. What they have in common: several people to convince internally, a real deadline, and an audience that switches off the moment a film sounds like an ad.

How we work

One point of contact manages your project from brief to delivery. We help you sharpen the brief and write the script when needed, then plan the approval rounds into the schedule instead of discovering them at the end.

On set, we stay discreet. The people you film are often not used to cameras, and it shows on screen when they feel at ease.

Years of television and live multi-camera production have left their mark: tight schedules and one-take moments are familiar ground.

Then we deliver fast. A film that arrives after the moment has passed is worth less.

Languages

We deliver in French, Dutch and English, with subtitles. For other languages we work with external translators and handle the subtitling ourselves.

Public tenders

Powwow answers public tenders and knows their constraints: specifications, award criteria, submission deadlines and the paperwork that comes with them. If your organisation buys through procurement, we speak that language.

Example: our framework contract with Bruxelles Formation.

Four years with Holcim

It started with an aftermovie. Four years later, we shoot for Holcim 15 to 20 times a year: field reports, portraits, presentation films, event content, more than 140 films for GO4ZERO alone, and a timelapse that has been running on the construction site for two years. Read the case study.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a corporate video cost in Belgium?

It depends on the number of shooting days, the size of the crew, the locations, the length of the edit, motion design and the number of language versions. We don’t publish rates, because two films of the same length can differ by a factor of five. What we do: tell you straight what your budget can buy, and where to cut without hurting the result. Our article on production budgets explains where the money goes.

How long does it take to produce a corporate film?

A short corporate film typically takes about a week from brief to delivery, when approvals move at the same pace. The schedule is set with you at the start and we hold it.

Do you write the script?

Yes, when you want us to. Some clients arrive with a finished script, most arrive with an intention. We help turn it into a structure, then a script, then a shooting plan. You approve each step.

Can we use the same shoot for social media?

Yes, and we recommend it. Plan the social cuts before the shoot, and one day of filming feeds your website, your LinkedIn and your internal channels for months.

Which languages do you deliver in?

French, Dutch and English, with subtitles. Other languages through external translators.

Do you answer public tenders?

Yes. We know the format, the criteria and the deadlines, and we build our offers accordingly.

Who owns the rights to the film?

You do. The deliverables are yours to use on the platforms and for the duration agreed. Music is licensed for the agreed use. Image-rights consent for the people filmed is usually handled by your organisation; we can take care of it for you on request.

Do you shoot outside Brussels?

Yes, across Belgium and abroad. We travel light, with the same crew you met in Brussels.
